Qualifications and Experience

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 

I have over 35 years experience working within NHS Mental Health Services. During this time I have also provided psychological services within the Corporate and Private Sector.

Having specialised in the field of Eating Disorders for more than 25 years, the majority of my career has been focussed on helping women. 

Whilst we are all unique, there are a number of common life events and experiences which many women face throughout life.  I have been successfully treating women experiencing these, over the years.  

There are also some struggles which are less common but nevertheless impact the lives of women massively.  Eating issues being one and Narcissistic Abuse being the other.  I am skilled and experienced in both areas.   Both impact the basic elements of life such as eating and sleeping, whilst simultaneously having an enormous impact on the emotional side of life - such as heightened anxiety, feeling stressed and overwhelmed.   

Over the years it has been both rewarding and a pleasure to help hundreds of women find freedom from their struggles and a positive new start to their lives.  

I am passionate about offering a range of quality therapies and am committed to continued professional development.
